
Convergent partnered with Dalberg Advisors and IFC (World Bank Group) on a multi-country study examining women’s advancement in banking across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Using mixed-method research, the study identified barriers and enablers to gender equity in leadership and provided actionable insights to advance women’s representation in South Asia’s financial sector.

The study aimed to assess the readiness of selected sub-centres across the districts of Andhra Pradesh to transition into Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs). It also sought to understand the health-seeking behaviours of the population, particularly focusing on Out-of-Pocket Expenditures (OOPE) and the sources of care for the 12 essential services provided under HWCs. This study was conducted across 13 districts with a focus on rural and tribal areas.

Convergent was the data partner for the MIT/J-PAL study with 10,000 Grade 9 students to examine how they approach and solve written mathematics problems. The data gave insights into students’ problem-solving strategies, common errors, and conceptual understanding to inform AI algorithms being developed to improve mathematics education in India.
