Citizen Satisfaction, Perception, and Public Service Performance Evaluation in West Bengal

Narrative Description of Project:
This comprehensive study included a quantitative evaluation of West Bengal's key government schemes and services, with a focus on critical sectors including Health, Education, and the Public Distribution System (PDS), alongside related dimensions of livelihoods, infrastructure, and law and order. Through large-scale survey data collection, the research systematically captured citizens' access levels and satisfaction with government programs, generating robust evidence about their reach, effectiveness, and ground-level impact. The analysis revealed significant patterns in service delivery performance, highlighting regional disparities, demographic variations, and specific implementation challenges affecting scheme outcomes. The evidence-based findings provided the client with a clear diagnostic of governance effectiveness and informed the development of targeted policy recommendations.
